This "straw wine" is light and luscious in the mouth and is not an overly sweet dessert wine. It is extremely balanced in terms of acidity and exhibits aromatics of apple and honeysuckle and with, bright kumquat, tangerine and lemon curd. This wine has a bright lasting finish of citrus marmalade.
Domaine Artefact’s Marsanne has a delicate aroma characterized by Bartlett pear, stone fruit such as apricot, lemon pith, gooseberry, quince, granny smith apples, almond skins and acacia flower. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium body and high acidity. The finish is dominated by bright acidity and citrusy and green apple notes that linger on the palate.
This wine exhibits pronounced aromatics of ripe bosc pears, yellow peaches, and golden apples being the dominant fruit aromas. Honey and Meyer lemon peel add complexity. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium body and medium+ acidity. The finish is mouthwatering, with apple and tropical notes that linger.
Domaine Artefact's Grenache Rosé offers pronounced aromatics of ripe strawberries, red plum, raspberries, Rainier cherries, orange marmalade, fresh earth, and dried herbs/sage. On the palate, it is dry, medium-bodied, and bursts with bright, ripe, and juicy berries such as strawberry, plums, pomegranate, watermelon with a hint of herbs and pink peppercorns. The finish is dominated by ripe red fruit balanced by cleansing acidity.
Domaine Artefact's Les Beaux Blancs “the beautiful whites” has pronounced honey aromas with tropical fruit notes of pineapple and mango, as well as hints of dried lemon, kumquat, grapefruit pith, and yellow apple. Fresh cut herbs and fennel add to the complexity of the aroma, along with warm, subtle honeysuckle floral notes. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium body and medium acidity. The finish offers bright floral, citrus, and tropical notes.
