This wine is an excellent balance of sweetness to alcohol and showcases the best of both worlds, combining the elegance of Cabernet Sauvignon, with the earthiness of Syrah offering depth and complexity in a port-style wine. Medium aromatics with notes of candied cherry, raspberry and strawberry preserves. On the palate, the wine is dry, has medium + tannins, medium acidity and body - very well balanced. Ripe bing cherries, zesty red plum skins and strawberry preserves dominate the palate with notes of white pepper, with a subtle oak presence providing depth and character. The finish is lasting and bright, accentuated by ripe cherries, and plums.
